FUMBLEPROOF

The terms, in plain words

the agreement · last updated 12 September 2026 · no fine print elsewhere

This is the whole agreement for Fumbleproof Pro, the weekly subscription sold in the Android app. If you bought founding access before it closed, your purchase stays under the founding agreement, kept word for word at /founding. There is no fine print anywhere else.

Fumbleproof Pro, week by week

What works today

What is still coming

This is built or half-built, not shipped:

When those ship, Pro includes them at no extra cost, for as long as the service runs. If they never ship, you keep everything in the list above.

What free gets, so you know what you are paying for

Free is a complete loop, not a demo: three practice sessions a week against two of the six partners, her replies written live for twelve conversations a month, one Real-chat Review every three days, and every replay, every grade, every coach note and every drill, always. Feedback is never the thing behind the paywall — practice without feedback makes people worse, and selling that back would make this the sort of app it exists in opposition to.

Pro removes the weekly limit, opens every partner, takes live replies from twelve conversations a month to fifty, and removes the three-day wait on Real-chat Review.

The fair-use cap, stated up front

Live-AI mode is on. Pro includes 50 AI sessions a month — conversations where her replies are written live rather than drawn from the written bank. Practice against the built-in engine — the gym as it exists today — stays unlimited, forever. The cap exists so a handful of accounts can't quietly bankrupt the service.

Two things about how it is counted, because a cap you can't see is just a surprise. It counts conversations, not messages. And a conversation that has already started never counts again, so hitting the limit can never cut you off in the middle of one — the next new chat waits, the one you're in does not.

If you bought founding access

Founding closed on 12 September 2026. If you bought it, nothing changes for you: lifetime access, the 7-day refund on your purchase, and the fair-use cap stated when you paid all stand exactly as written in the founding agreement.

What you're actually buying

Software. The coach is software, the practice partners are simulations, and the app says so everywhere. No human coaching is included or implied — the only human in this is me, answering the support address.

Who this is for, and what it is not

18 and over. That is a condition of the account, not a formality, and it is asked before your first session.

Fumbleproof is practice software, not therapy, counselling, or professional relationship advice. The coach may comment on a conversation you upload, but it cannot know another person's intentions or guarantee an outcome. If dating is hurting you in a way practice will not fix, please talk to someone who is qualified.

The women in practice are simulations. They are labelled as simulations and none is modelled on a real, identifiable person. If you explicitly ask for wording, the coach may offer one example reply and explain the reasoning; you decide what, if anything, to send.

Things that end an account

Very short list, and none of it will surprise you: being under 18, using the service to build or train something that competes with it, attacking the infrastructure, or abusing the fair-use cap through automation rather than practice. If any of that happens the account closes and we refund the week you are in rather than argue about it.

Your right to change your mind

Pro is sold through Google Play, and Google Play's refund policy applies to it. If you are in the EU or the UK you also have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases; by starting to use Pro straight after subscribing you ask us to begin at once, which normally ends that right. We do not hide behind that: if you think you are owed a refund, email [email protected] and we will sort it out with you. Founding purchases keep their own 7-day refund, set out in the founding agreement.

If these terms change

The date at the top of this page changes with them. If the weekly price changes, Google Play tells you first and you can cancel before it applies. For founding members, what cannot change is set out in the founding agreement. Anything else may be revised, and if a revision is material you get an email — not a silent edit.

What we are responsible for, plainly

We will keep the service running and your data handled the way the privacy page describes. Software breaks sometimes; when it does, the fix is a refund inside the window or a repair outside it. What we cannot be responsible for is how a real conversation goes. This is a gym. Nobody guarantees you a date, and anyone who does is selling you something else.

Nothing here limits liability for anything Dutch law does not allow to be limited, including death, personal injury, or our own intent or gross negligence.

Which law, and where

Dutch law applies, and disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in, or your right to bring a case where you live.

Before any of that: email [email protected]. One person reads it and would rather solve the problem than win it.

Who you are buying from

Pro is paid through Google Play, and your Google Play receipt is your proof of purchase. Founding purchases made on the web were processed by Stripe; those card statements show EO COMMERCES with FUMBLEPROOF next to it. Both are us. If a charge ever looks unfamiliar, email [email protected] before your bank; we answer faster than a dispute does.
